  1. These are lovely to see, and an interesting blog topic. My creative inspiration things are mostly rocks, fossils, shells...I also have collections of handmade tiles, folk art toys, and frogs--those are mostly just for fun but I suppose it is all in the mix somehow.

    I also keep a visual journal in the studio--stuff ripped out of magazines, a rtist postcards, quotes, all kinds of things that move me in some way. It's very eclectic and good to look through when I'm a bit stuck.

  2. I am always looking for resources to inspire my work. I find myself in thrift stores looking for still-life objects such as old bottles and dishes. You'll be surprise some of the items you can find.

    I also photograph as much as possible and keep a file on my computer of these resource photos.

    I like the idea of a journal for creative ideas...I should do that.

  3. I found your blog through the ManQuilter FB page.I am a quilter but am very inspired by china, baskets, gardens etc..I think it's important to feed our senses to keep the creative engine running!
